We say we trust God when things go right,but then life comes and we didn’t see it coming. Then is when I need to trust and give thanks to God. Kate I love you ,but God loves you more. I hope we all are being over cautious,but if not then thank you God for holding us back from what could be very bad. For Christians the bad would turn out good in the end. Can you take your training on line and get a head start? We’re still praying for you,and thanks for sharing . We all feel that way at times but don’t always know how to share.

Thank you for this beautifully stated truth. Bruce and I were single in our thirties and early forties. Due to our experiences we have been intentional about including singles and we are blessed by their friendship. We all need to be better at extending the compassionate arm of Christ to everyone, no matter their “status”.

And you’re right! I think sometimes we get caught up in the fantasy of what the ideal or perfect story is so much that we don’t know how to make space for people that don’t fit into that mold. But when I look at Jesus, I see a guy who seemed to prefer to spend His time with the people on the margins. I think the Body of Christ has to figure out ways to practically do this in our churches too.
