Most nonprofits are wasting time on messaging that confuses their donors. I help these nonprofits clarify their message through the StoryBrand framework and implementation so that they can increase impact and increase giving.
As a StoryBrand Certified Guide, I know how important it is to do the hard work of clarifying your message, because let's be honest, your donors won't. They won't take the time to ask questions like, "I wonder what they meant..." or "I wonder what they want me to do..."
They will simply move on.
But it doesn't have to be this way.
Many of the organizations I work with are doing meaningful, life-changing work but struggle to explain it simply and consistently. That’s where I come in. I help bring focus, clarity, and strategy to communication so your message connects and your impact grows.
My background is in professional writing (BS from Taylor University), nonprofit communications, and on-the-ground service. I’ve led communications for a mission-driven church, served in Thailand, and worked with immigrants and refugees in Chicago. Each experience—whether in an office or on-the-ground—shaped how I approach this work with empathy, care, and a deep respect for the people behind every story.
My faith informs how I show up and serve my clients, but I partner with organizations of all backgrounds who are committed to making a difference in this world.
